Translated to Garlic and Olive Oil, this is an easy dish to prepare. Takes very little time and has a few basic ingredients. Another Kate specialty.
Spaghetti pasta, cooked al dente and rinsed in cold water, set aside
4-6 garlic cloves, peeled and slivered (or more, I prefer to use at least 6 cloves per person, however not everyone loves garlic as much as I do.)
dried red chili flakes
cracked black pepper
Lightly coat a skillet with the olive oil and add the garlic, chilis and cracked black pepper. Saute until the garlic starts to turn brown, toss the spaghetti in until it is lightly coated with the oil. Server on plates and grate some parmesan cheese over the top.
This dish is also good if you care to add onions, capers or anchovy paste.
